Window and Door Replacement on the Cape Haze Peninsula
Central Window Sales replaces windows, sliding glass doors and entry doors across Cape Haze, the peninsula in western Charlotte County between Lemon Bay, Gasparilla Sound and Charlotte Harbor. We work in waterfront homes, golf communities and condos from Placida to the neighborhoods along Placida Road. A team from our Bradenton office serves Cape Haze.
Homes surrounded by water
Many Cape Haze homes sit on canals, golf courses or open water, so large sliders and window walls take the brunt of wind and salt air. Original aluminum and builder-grade vinyl units often have worn rollers, failed seals and corroded hardware. Like the rest of coastal Charlotte County, the area has been through repeated storms, from Charley in 2004 to Ian in 2022 and Milton in 2024.
Permits and community rules
Cape Haze is unincorporated, so permits go through Charlotte County Community Development. Many neighborhoods and condo communities here have their own architectural rules, and we provide product details for review. We confirm requirements for your address, pull the permit, schedule inspections and haul away the old units.
Planning for larger openings
Big sliders and window walls on the peninsula often need special-order sizes, which affects lead time. We measure each opening, confirm code requirements and give you an expected timeline before you place the order.

Great company, I hired them to replace all my windows and wow! We can already feel the temperature difference from the old single pane windows compared to our new double pane windows. It’s much cooler! The warranties that were offered were great too; lifetime glass break protection as well as their workmanship. Highly recommended this company!
Central Windows is a great company! They arrived on time and the installation of 10 windows only took a half day. The installation crew were very professional, respectful of our property and home. They laid down tarps and cleaned up as they installed the windows. We highly recommend Central Windows and we'll use them again for sure.
