Window and Door Replacement for Davenport's Growing Neighborhoods
Central Window Sales replaces windows, sliding glass doors, patio doors, entry doors and storm doors for homeowners across Davenport, including the fast-growing subdivisions near ChampionsGate, along US-27 and around Posner Park. We are a family-owned company that has served Central Florida since 1963, and our home office and showroom in Winter Haven keeps Davenport within our regular Polk County service area.
Newer homes still need attention
Davenport's population roughly tripled between 2010 and 2020, and the surrounding area has grown just as quickly. Many homes here were built within the past few decades with builder-grade vinyl windows and wide sliding glass doors facing the pool deck. After years of Florida sun and heavy use, those sliders start to drag, the seals between the panes fail and fog, and locks loosen. Replacing them with better-built units can make a home cooler, quieter and easier to secure. Many of these homes also have tall fixed windows and transoms that collect heat in the afternoon, and Low-E glass can help keep those rooms comfortable.
Vacation and rental homes
Many Davenport homes are second homes or short-term rentals for visitors heading to the Orlando area. If you live out of state or rent the home out, we plan the estimate and installation with you so the work fits your schedule and bookings. Impact-rated windows and doors from PGT are a popular upgrade for these homes because they protect the openings without anyone needing to put up shutters before a storm, and they add security while the house sits empty.
City or county permit
Homes inside Davenport city limits are permitted through the City of Davenport, while many homes with a Davenport mailing address are in unincorporated Polk County and are permitted through the Polk County Building Division. We check your parcel, pull the right permit, confirm code requirements for your address, schedule the inspection and haul away the old units.

Great company, I hired them to replace all my windows and wow! We can already feel the temperature difference from the old single pane windows compared to our new double pane windows. It’s much cooler! The warranties that were offered were great too; lifetime glass break protection as well as their workmanship. Highly recommended this company!
Central Windows is a great company! They arrived on time and the installation of 10 windows only took a half day. The installation crew were very professional, respectful of our property and home. They laid down tarps and cleaned up as they installed the windows. We highly recommend Central Windows and we'll use them again for sure.
Davenport Window & Door Replacement FAQs
It depends on your parcel, not your mailing address. Homes inside Davenport city limits are permitted through the City of Davenport, while many Davenport-address homes in unincorporated areas go through the Polk County Building Division. We confirm which applies and pull the permit for you.
Yes. We plan the estimate and installation around your schedule and your rental bookings. Because we pull the permit, schedule the inspection and haul away the old windows, there is less for you to manage from a distance.
Builder-grade sliders often see heavy daily use, especially in pool homes and rentals, and Florida heat wears on rollers, tracks and seals. Common signs are dragging, sticking, drafts and fog between the panes. Replacing the door usually solves all of these at once.
Many owners think so. Impact glass protects openings without shutters, which matters when no one is home to put them up, and it adds security and cuts outside noise. Whether impact-rated products are required depends on your address, which we confirm before ordering.
Yes. We serve Davenport and the Polk County neighborhoods along US-27 and up toward ChampionsGate and I-4 from our Winter Haven home office. Call (863) 293-2977 to book a free estimate.
